CLASS ROOMS

SRPS has spacious, ventilated, well furnished, modernized and few are fully air conditioned IT enabled classrooms which creates healthy atmosphere for the students and are well lit and echoproof to facilitate the teaching-learning process. Classrooms are designed for conventional lectures and group discussions. These facilities create an ideal atmosphere well suited for teaching-learning pedagogy.

SEMINAR AND CONFERENCEHALL

Pharmacy students need to continuously update their knowledge and communication to be at par with industry requirements for better placements and higher education. SRPS constantly conducts interactive sessions, guest lectures, seminars, Journal clubs and conferences. Seminar Hall is aesthetically designed and well equipped with latest technology to facilitate the different activities which can accommodate 150 members. It is a centre for knowledge acquisition since right ambiance is created with a podium, a computer system with internet facility, an LCD projector, a sound system and speakers. It attracts students to flock together to share, discuss and explore knowledge in their areas of learning.

LABS

At SVCP, a wide range of academic facilities are provided to the students to assist them at every stage of their course. These include high-tech, well-equipped laboratories in the Departments of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy, which serve as a strong framework for our graduates to help them develop capabilities to become world-class pharmacists and scientists. There is multimedia English Language Lab with all the sophisticated equipment, especially to train students in communicative aspects of English. Academically as well as socially productive in-house projects and research work are taken-up in these laboratories:

MUSEUM

SVCP has a museum in entrance, containing various Pharmaceutical dosage forms separately like solid dosage form (Tablets, Capsules – Various brands of medicines for different diseases), semisolid dosage form (Ointments, creams, gels, suppositories – Various brands of medicines for different diseases), liquid dosage forms (Solutions, emulsions, suspensions – Various brands of medicines for different diseases) and models of Human anatomy.

CENTRAL INSTRUMENTATION LAB

Central instrumentation Lab is equipped with highly sophisticated instruments accessible to all the post graduates and research scholars. The laboratory promotes scientific thinking and experimental exposure for the faculty and students. The main objective of the Central Instrumentation Lab is to promote high quality research in pharmaceutical sciences by providing facilities and technical expertise in support of basic and applied research activities.
Central Instrumentation Lab is a state-of-art sophisticated laboratory equipped with modern instruments like HPLC, UV-VISIBLE Spectrophotometer, Gas Chromatography, Brookfield’s Viscometer, Ultrasonic homogenizer, High Speed Homogenizer, etc. It provides analytical support and intellectual input to both in-house and externally funded R & D projects of the Institute.

Machiene Room

The machine room built at SRPS is used on continuous basis by the students for the learning, formulating and developing of tablets, capsules and other novel dosage forms. It is equipped with Ball Mill, Cutter Mill, Tableting Machine, Coating Pan, Spray Coater, BOD Incubator, Tray Drier, Ampoule Filling And Sealing Machine, Bottle Sealing Machine, Mechanical Sieve Shaker, Collapsible Tube Sealing Machine, Capsule Filling Machine, Grinding Mill/Mixer, Bottle Washing Machine, Hot Air Oven, Vacuum Pump, Auto Clave,All purposeEquipment,HumidityChamber,Tray Dryer etc.

MEDICINAL GARDEN

Medicinal Garden at SRPS is having well maintained medicinal plants for Research and Pharmacognostic study. It is a quiet place for communion, and a learning place for all who visit, work, and study on our campus. The herbal garden also provides students with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience gathering and tending medicinal plants and offers a living example of many of the herbal medicines used in the Ayurveda. The garden includes everything from small herbaceous plants and vines to shrubs and trees, annuals to perennials, natives and non-natives over 100 medicinal plant species.
